-Arrive 15min before your appointment to complete all necessary insurance documentation.
-We respect every patient’s time, if you are 10min late for your child’s appointment, you may be asked to reschedule, so that the following patients that day can be seen on time.
-At each visit, you will need to present your insurance card (to make sure that we have the most up-to-date information) as well as any co-payment that is due.
Patient check-in and visit include
– measurements of your child including vital signs (heart rate and blood pressure), height, and weight.
-Your Doctor will take a comprehensive medical history and perform a full physical examination. For adolescents, they have the option of asking the parent to leave the room for privacy. Chaperones are always available upon request.

-if your child needs nutritional or exercise counseling, or diabetes self-care training- that will be provided at the visit as well.
-your child may need additional testing such as blood work, X-rays, ultrasounds or stimulation testing. In almost all cases, we perform these at the office.
-the blood work is done by individuals who are experienced in pediatric phlebotomy. We use a butterfly needle (the smallest needle available) for all draws.
– Stimulation testing is a separate procedure in itself (ranging from 2 to 4hrs) that is scheduled with our nurses on another day.
